Gavilon Completes the Acquisition of Minto Grain

Gavilon will continue buying and storing grain from producers in northeast North Dakota


Omaha, Neb. (Oct. 5, 2010) Gavilon Grain, LLC dba Peavey Company today announced it has completed the acquisition of Minto Grain, LLC located in Minto, N.D. Business will continue uninterrupted at the facility. Gavilon will honor all existing forward purchase and sales contracts, and continue buying and storing grain from northeast North Dakota producers.


“We are pleased to be expanding our presence in North Dakota with the addition of our sixth grain facility in the state,” said Matt Gibson, senior director of merchandising and operations of Gavilon Grain. “We look forward to offering area producers the quality of service Minto Grain is known for while providing increased flexibility and greater handling efficiencies as part of Gavilon’s network of grain operations.”
