The individual will support all features of Agris, including: accounting & financials, grain processing, commodity management, inventory, agronomy, bank, Bulkweigh and oneWeigh scale automation. The individual will work with the support team to achieve greater results through better control of business processes. The work is challenging, fast paced and very fulfilling.


The incumbent will participate in technical studies to evaluate business systems requirements and recommend appropriate solutions. Key responsibilities include:

•Interfacing with programmers/analysts to explain business solutions.
•Completing complex system configuration changes for current business applications.
•Preparing communications and presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives. 


Position Responsibilities
•Serve as primary Agris expert within the firm
•Document and prioritize enhancements to system
•Support patches and upgrades to Agris and oneWeigh
•Maintain and update application documentation, provide expert knowledge sharing, and train staff
•Log, investigate and resolve issues working with both the internal IT teams and the vendor
•Assist with standardization of system process across Grain business lines
•Encouraged to add value by suggesting alternatives to improve operational efficiency and by turning data into information that is useful for decision-making 
•Develop and manage information sources as requested by management and required for analysis
•Present information and analysis in written and verbal form to all levels
•Assist with training and user acceptance of new analytical methods and information resources
•Ensure the availability and performance of Agris to SLAs

•5+ years proven experience supporting Agris
•3+ years experience with oneWeigh
•Experience working with IT development and production support teams
•Experience with end of day application processing and business reporting
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, review, and analyze information to form solid solutions quickly
•Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Information Science or related field is strongly preferred
•Project management skills including problem identification, analytical approach, data gathering and delivery/presentation of results
•Eagerness to learn and develop in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
•Expertise in MS Excel and Access
•Must be a self-starter, must be dependable, and must work well under pressure
