Position Responsibilities
•Directly manages the day-to-day operations and commodity procurement for a specific facility.
•Directly manages the implementation of all company safety policies, practices and processes.
•Supervise operations shifts and/or functions (e.g., train loading).
•Daily activities include logistics management of the facility, customer/supplier communications for the purpose of the sales and purchasing of commodities, market analysis activity in conjunction with management, accounts receivable management and various other tasks related to facility management.
•Develop and maintain customer oriented marketing plans fostered by extensive customer contact.
•Manage the research, analysis and monitoring of generic, specialty or value added crop production, government programs, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on during the routine course of providing high quality service.
•Effectively handle, accounting, and logistical problems when they arise.


•BS or BA in Agricultural Economics, Marketing, or Operations/Engineering or applicable work experience.
•Must be aggressive, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
•Must have excellent communications, computer and public relations skills.
•Must have excellent computer skills.
•Must have understanding of confidentiality and be able to maintain confidential information.
•Ability to conduct oneself in an ethical manner and assists in promoting strong morale and ethical operating and principles consistent with company policy.
