Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist agronomic advice in relation to production.
  • Develop and maintain close relations with regional technical advisors from supply and distribution companies.
  • Develop and implement long term agronomic plans and practices to support organization plans and budgets.
  • Maintain existing and develop new customer base.
  • Responsible for sales territory budgeting, forecasting and analysis.

 

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:

  • BS or advanced degree in Agronomy, Natural Sciences or related science.
  • 2+ years field/farming related experience.
  • Previous sales experience and knowledge of crop protection & seed market desirable.
  • Aggressive, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and operate within budget.
  • Excellent communications, computer and public relations skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel and call on customer base.
